Professor Nayla Mohamad

A graduate of 12 years, I work in the specialties of Implantology, Prosthetics, and TMD (Temporomandibular Joint Disorders). For the past 8 years, I have been involved in Digital Dentistry and am currently finishing my Master's degree in Digital Dentistry at São Leopoldo Mandic University in São Paulo. My thesis is titled "Advantages and Limitations of Open Source Software" and aims to understand how to integrate students and professionals in the field into the digital world without incurring high costs. Currently, I give lectures and courses on 3D printing using open-source (or free) software as a tool. In Rio de Janeiro, I have coordinated two guided surgery courses using open-source software sponsored by the company Plenum. I worked for one year as a professor of Oral Surgery in the undergraduate clinic at Estácio de Sá University. I currently work in the Postgraduate Prosthetics and TMD clinic at São Leopoldo Mandic University in Campinas, sharing my knowledge of the digital workflow to solve course cases; in addition to mentoring and a podcast aimed at helping all professionals who wish to access the digital workflow.
