The course aims to train healthcare professionals to work as teachers, clinicians, and researchers. The program aims to prepare participants to work and teach in the field, focusing on primary patient care, understanding the structural, biological, and behavioral requirements of orofacial pain, interprofessional interaction, the use of critical analysis in therapeutic decision-making, conducting research in the field, and instruction on clinical care.

The program has been running since 2002, is recognized by CAPES (Brazilian Federal Agency for Support and Evaluation of Graduate Education) and has received a grade of 5 (for the 2017-2020 evaluation period). The São Leopoldo Mandic Faculty is the only Brazilian educational institution to be part of the Orpheus group – an organization for PhD education in Biomedicine and Health Sciences within the European System, which brings together educational institutions active in health sciences and biomedicine. Payment and Contract

Sign the digital contract sent by email from the Totvs platform and make your monthly payments via bank slip on the 5th of each month.

Required Documents

Please present the following documents to Student Support: birth/marriage certificate, ID card, CPF (Brazilian tax identification number), voter registration card, professional license, proof of residence, 3x4 photo, and graduation diploma.

Tuition payment

Tuition payment via bank slip, PIX (Brazilian instant payment system), or credit card (minimum installment of R$ 500.00 in up to 10 installments).

Extended Payment

Extension in 6 installments with 5% interest on the total course value. A down payment is required before signing the contract.

Refund Policy

Cancellation up to 20 days before the start of the course/module: 80% refund, with 20% retained for administrative expenses. After this period, there will be no refund of the registration fee due to the impossibility of replacing the registrant.

The first module will take place in person on February 4th, 5th, and 6th, 2025 (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday), from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, for the subject of Related Domain: Methodology of Higher Education.

The second module will be held from March 1st to 30th, 2025, for the subject of Related Domain: Scientific Research Methodologyformat online.

The Third Module will be held on April 22nd, 23rd, and 24th, 2025, for the subject of Related Domain: Drug Therapy, in person.

The Fourth Module will be held from May 1st to 30th, 2025, for the Related Domain: Biostatistics, in an online.

The fifth module will be held on June 3rd, 4th, and 5th, 2025, for the subject of Related Domain: Biosafety and Medical Emergencies, in person.

Special Discounts:
discount 30%  on the registration fee for payments made until   October 31, 2024;  20% discount  for payments made until  November 30, 2024  discount  10%  on the registration fee for payments made until  January 21, 2025.

Current Discounts:
discount 10% on tuition fees for former students of Faculdade São Leopoldo Mandic, with the exception of those who took single-module courses or who completed a course lasting less than 12 months, regardless of the campus.

For former undergraduate students of Faculdade São Leopoldo Mandic who are pursuing their first postgraduate course, excluding single-module courses, there is a 15% on tuition fees and a 50% on registration.

Students who wish to pay semesterly in full receive a 3% on tuition fees; for payments made annually in full, we grant a 4% on tuition fees. For courses lasting more than 12 months, when all tuition fees are paid in full upfront, the discount is 7% on tuition fees.

And for Uniodonto Campinas* accredited professionals, the discount will be 10% on monthly fees for courses in Campinas, other units, and online courses.

A 7% discount is offered to SODF-affiliated dentists who enroll in Master's degree programs at the Brasília campus.
